Hello, hello! Anna Wight here today with a quick gift wrap project for your inspiration, featuring the Mini Pizza Box Bigz XL die from the Where Women Cook collection, and the Sizzix Floral Wreath Thinlits die set from Brenda Walton. The Sizzix Mini Pizza Box die makes the perfectly sized gift box for gifts or treats, like big homemade cookies! It would be perfect for gifting jewelry, event tickets, or even gift cards!
The Mini Pizza Box die is cut from a piece of 6×12 paper. Choose a medium or heavy weight paper, and perhaps one that is double-sided, to give your box stability and extra "cuteness". The Mini Pizza Box creates score lines during the cutting process, so you will want to use this Sizzix sandwich when using this die: Extended Cutting Pad, die (with the cutting side up), paper or card stock, Extended Premium Crease Pad. To assemble the box, fold along all the score lines that are created during the cutting process. Apply adhesive to the side tabs on the top and bottom lids of the box.
I created a tag for my gift box using the Sizzix Floral Wreath Thinlits die set from Brenda Walton. When using Thinlits dies, sandwich your paper and die between a pair of Sizzix Standard Cutting Pads and put it through your Sizzix Big Shot machine. Using the Sizzix Magnetic Platform will keep your die in place as you run it through your Sizzix Big Shot machine. I die cut several leaf shapes, the banner, the bird and the frame from various pieces of patterned paper. I lightly inked the edges of the die cut shapes, and adhered them into place. I punched a hole at the top of the frame so that I could add a string, and adhered the tag in place on a seam binding bow.
Thanks for joining me today! I hope you are inspired!
