Hawaiian Lampshade

Light up the room in island fun with this aloha-themed lampshade. You can make it in just a few simple steps!

Other Supplies: Lamp, Lampshade, Cardstock, Stamp, Embossing Ink Pad, Embossing Powder, Heat Embossing Tool, Glitter, Jewels, Ribbon

  1. Die-cut Hibiscus Flower out of self-adhesive cardstock that has been stamped with a flower background using an embossing pad and embossed with clear embossing powder.
  2. Apply adhesive to both sides of a complementary-cardstock and die-cut the center of the Hibiscus Flower. Peel away the backing and apply glitter.
  3. Die-cut Hibiscus Flower a third time using a solid-colored self-adhesive paper.
  4. Die-cut Swirly Decorative Strip out of a complementary color of self-adhesive paper.
  5. Peel away the backing on the Hibiscus Flower and Swirly Decorative Strip and attach them to the lampshade.
  6. Glue on decorative jewels as accents and tie a bow around the base of the lamp.
