Monkey Around Burp Cloth

It’s easy to create cute baby accessories for your little one or to give as a gift. Follow the simple instructions to personalize a store-bought burp cloth or sew one using the pattern described below.

Notes
- Finished Size: 8 1/2" x 19 1/2"
- All seam allowances are 1/4" unless noted.
Assembly
- Use a 9" circle (or any large circle) to create a template. Layer the two green flannel rectangles together, place template on edges and round off the corners.
- Using one rectangle, iron on Monkey placing in the center near the short end of the rectangle.
- Satin stitch around Monkey shapes.
- Place the rectangles right sides together and sew leaving a 4" opening.
- Turn inside out, press and stitch opening closed to form a burp cloth.
