Welcome spring with this fresh idea! You'll make a great impression when you give this debossed Flower Card using the letterpress technique and Sizzix die-cuts designed by Tim Holtz®. It's easy, just follow the instructions below to learn how.
Other Supplies: Colored Cardstock, Acrylic, Brayer, Button, Ink, Pen, Scratch Paper
Create a card base out of colored cardstock. To create the letterpress effect, die-cut the Tattered Florals out of a piece of clear acrylic. Lay die-cut Flower on a piece of scratch paper. Using an ink pad and a rubber brayer, completely coat the acrylic Flower with ink. Put one cutting pad and a piece of thin scratch paper onto the Multipurpose Platform. Carefully transfer the acrylic Flower onto the platform inked side up. Trim a piece of cardstock to fit the card front and place right side down onto the inked acrylic Flower. Cover the card with the Silicone Rubber and Impressions Pad and run through the Big Shot or BIGkick Machine. Carefully lift pads away from the card. Lift the card straight up from the acrylic piece. Trim edges as desired and adhere to card front. Embellish with pen and decorative button.
