Prom Party Favor
Project #1844
Want a fresh, new way to distribute treats? Try this bag, decorated with a Sizzlits die. Adorn it with your favorite shapes and embellishments. Follow the instructions below to get started.
Artist: Debi Adams, Sizzix
Theme: School & Sports
Other Supplies: Cardstock, Patterned Paper, Pipe Cleaner, Ribbon, Zipper
Die-cut Box from two different pieces of cardstock. Trim the top of one Box and adhere to the top of other Box. Fold along crease lines and assemble Box. Tie ribbon around Box. Die-cut the word "prom" out of cardstock and adhere to front of Box. Cut a strip of patterned paper (in this case, we used sheet music), accordion fold, gather center and wrap with pipe cleaner. Pull the edges of the patterned paper above the pipe cleaner apart to reveal the ridges and creases of the accordion fold (these will create the petals of your flower). Adhere edges together to form a rosette. If desired, cut the ends of the petals with scissors to round them. Roll a zipper into a coil and adhere in place to form a flower. Attach zipper flower to center of rosette.
