Sizzix Offers Sneak Preview of Upcoming New Products for 2010

For all those Sizzix fans interested in what's in store for the upcoming year, the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Winter 2010 trade show in Anaheim, Calif., is showcasing crafters' dream product lineup.

First up is the first-ever electronic shape-cutter to combine award-winning Sizzix artwork with remote-controlled intelligence. The eclips Electronic Shape-Cutter and Handheld Remote Control features amazing cutting precision and an initial selection of interchangeable cartridges preloaded with dazzling designs to cut solids, shadows, borders, pieces and more. The eclips also offers the option to change the size of each design within 1/100 of an inch.

Also altering the crafting world is the newest officially licensed product line for Sizzix from none other than Tim Holtz, breakthrough designer, innovator and popular star of the craft industry.

Tim's revolutionary Alterations line for Sizzix includes his On the Edge Die releases for cutting eye-popping edges for cards, scrapbook pages, mini books and more. Tim’s Texture Fades Embossing Folders are genuinely grunge-inspired and emboss in such a way that select areas of the image appear perfectly faded and distressed.

Rounding out the Tim Holtz assortment are edgy and oversized Bigz Dies and Movers & Shapers Base Dies, along with manipulative magnetic ones and long and lively Sizzlits Decorative Strip Dies, including the Vintage Market Alphabet Die.

Sizzix and Westminster Fibers, Inc., a leader in the printed fabrics industry, have combined to create two sure-to-be-popular product lines of quilting/appliqué die designs for the Big Shot, Big Shot Express and Big Shot Pro machines.

The first exciting product line of geometric shapes will include an assortment of Bigz, Bigz Pro, Bigz XL 25" and Bigz Pro 25" dies. A second line of exclusive quilting/appliqué Bigz dies, as well as limited-edition Big Shot and Big Shot Pro machines, will be available only through Westminster Fibers.

Among the many other noteworthy new releases, Sizzix Adhesive Sheet Packs virtually eliminate the need for an additional sticker machine. As a stand-alone product, Adhesive Sheets offer crafters the convenience of pre-made adhesive sheets. Like magic, the backing of each sheet easily peels away for easy application. When used with a Sizzix roller machine, Adhesive Sheets easily transform crafters’ favorite die-cuts into ready-made stickers.

Sizzix Honored for Seventh Straight Year

The readers of Creating Keepsakes have spoken. And for the seventh straight year, they've once again chosen Sizzix.

After weeks of voting by its readers, Creating Keepsakes magazine announced the winners of its annual Readers' Choice Awards. Sizzix was honored in three categories, including Die-Cut & Laser-Cut Shapes, Die-Cut Equipment (BIGkick and Sidekick) and Embossing Stencils (Simple Impressions).
