Birds & Flowers Card

Project #12642

This Birds & Flowers Card takes on a decidedly decorative approach. From edge to edge, it offers a charming appeal that you can easily customize to reflect your true creative self.

Other Supplies: Cardstock, Brayer, Chalks, Ink, Pearl Button, Ribbon, Small Flower

Cut cardstock to size and fold to form card base. Cut patterned paper to fit front of card. Use a brayer to apply ink to the male (positive) side of the Birds & Flowers embossing folder, carefully place the card front inside the folder and emboss using your Big Shot, BIGkick or Vagabond machine. Remove the embossed paper and set aside to dry. Once dry, add more color to images using chalk. Attach embossed paper to card. Die-cut Scallops (or any other decorative strip border of your choice) out of cardstock and attach to the edge of the card. Wrap ribbon around the card twice and tie into a bow. Die-cut Elegant Branch out of cardstock and attach to the card front. Cut a small flower out of cardstock, embellish with a pearl button and attach to the card front.
