Other Supplies: Cardstock, Patterned Paper, Glitter, Ink, Newspaper, Printed Sentiment, Ribbon, Sticky Note
Cut a piece of cardstock to size and fold to form card base. Emboss card front using the Brush of Baroque embossing folder. Lightly ink to highlight the raised design. Hand-cut a large ornate scallop square from patterned paper to fit across the card front. Ink the edges of the shape. Fussy cut around select elements and fold upward to show dimension. Stamp or print a sentiment onto cardstock, use the Scallop Square Framelits die to precisely crop around the printed words. With Framelits dies, you cut what you see without interference from ridges at the edge of the die opening. For ease of use, we recommend using a sticky note to hold the Framelits die in place while the shape is being cut. Embellish with ink and glitter. Cut a larger Scallop Square and mat the sentiment. Attach the sentiment to the card front, tucking under some of the raised elements. Hand-cut a circle element from patterned paper, embellish with glitter and attach to the card. Wrap a ribbon around the card and tie in a bow. Die-cut a 3-D Flower from newspaper and assemble. Attach to the card front.
