Hi Friend Card
Use a vintage greeting to say hello to an old friend. The Tim Holtz Alterations line for Sizzix offers many essential die-cutting and embossing products to satisfy many a nostalgic nuance.
Other Supplies: Cardstock, Stamps, Crown Embellishment, Embossing Ink, Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Ink, Letter Charm, Patterned Paper, Sandpaper, Twine
Cut cardstock to size and fold to form card base. Distress the edges of the card using sandpaper. Cut a piece of cardstock to fit across the card front. Stamp designs onto cardstock and attach to the card front. Die-cut letters out of cardstock using the Inside Out alphabet and distress with sandpaper. Attach to the card front. Die-cut Vintage Typewriter out of cardstock and rough up the edges using sandpaper. Adhere a piece of patterned paper to the back of the die-cut so that the lighter color shows through the die-cut Typewriter. Apply Glossy Accents to the keys to give them shine. Cut a piece of patterned paper to fit across the top of the Typewriter, apply ink to its edges, embellish with a sentiment and adhere to the Typewriter. Add a metal crown charm to the top of the Typewriter. Heat emboss the bottom element of the Typewriter and adhere. Attach the Typewriter to the card front. Wrap a length of twine around the card three times and tie into a bow. Embellish with a charm.
