  • Fat 1/4 = approximately 18" x 21"
  • * = place Fat 1/4(s) right sides together when die-cutting shapes. This will automatically create the mirror images needed.

Piecing the Project:

  1. Sew a yellow Half-Square Triangle to a pink Trapezoid to create a Rectangle. Repeat until all yellow Half-Square Triangles are sewn to pink Trapezoids.
  2. Sew a pink Half-Square Triangle to a yellow Trapezoid to create a Rectangle. Repeat until all pink Half-Square Triangles are sewn to yellow Trapezoids.
  3. Arrange the Rectangles in horizontal rows in a pleasing manner, 4 across by 8 down. Tip and turn the Rectangles to achieve desired pattern.
  4. Sew 4 blocks together to form a row. Repeat to form 7 more rows.
  5. Sew the 8 rows together to form the pillow top.

Finishing:

  1. Layer the batting and pillow top. Quilt by hand or machine, as desired.
  2. Layer the pillow top and pillow back, right sides together. Pin and sew with 1/2" seam allowance, leaving an opening approximately 6" long to insert pillow form.
  3. Clip excess fabric in the corners on the diagonal. Turn right-side-out, insert the pillow form and whipstitch closed.
