Thank You Butterfly Card

Project #14645

How do you say thanks? Start by designing a very special creation with the Stephanie Barnard collection. These die-cut or stamped shapes will add a creative flair to almost anything, including amazing cards like this!

Other Supplies: Cardstock, Patterned Paper, Button, Clear/Invisible Polyester Monofilament Thread, Double-Sided Tape, Ink, Ribbon, Twine

Die-cut a Circle Stand-Ups Card out of cardstock. Fold along crease lines to assemble the Card base. Die-cut the Stand-Up platform and bottom panels out of cardstock and patterned paper and attach the bottom panel to the Card base. Using a repositionable adhesive, attach the Stand-Ups platform to the Card. Place the Butterfly shadow die over the platform and die-cut. Die-cut two Butterfly bodies and one set of Butterfly pieces out of adhesive-backed cardstock. Distress the Butterfly antennae with ink. Remove adhesive backing and sandwich a piece of clear monofilament thread between the matching pair. Embellish the Butterfly with its pieces. Pull apart the Stand-Up platform layers and tape the monofilament thread to the Card base, making sure the Butterfly is centered in the middle of the butterfly window. Adhere the Stand-Up platform together. Die-cut two scallop circle borders out of cardstock and adhere to a band of patterned paper. Layer a ribbon over the borders and adhere to the Stand-ups platform. Trim away excess. Wrap ribbon around Card and tie into a bow. Fussy cut a sentiment from patterned paper and attach. Embellish with a threaded button.
