Overview
Take off with a Flying Geese Wall Hanging! All it takes is just two Half-Square Triangles sewn to a Quarter-Square Triangle.

Notes:
- Finished Size: 32" x 32"
- All seam allowances are 1/4" unless noted.
- WOF = width of fabric
Piecing the Quilt Top:
- Sew one Half-Square Triangle of any color to one dark teal Trapezoid. Sew another Half-Square Triangle of same color to a blue/gray Trapezoid.
- Sew the two Half-Square Triangles together to make a Flying Geese unit.
- Continue sewing Half-Square Triangles and Trapezoids together.
- As shown in photo, sew four Flying Geese units together to make one block.
- Make 16 blocks.
- Arrange blocks as shown in photo.
- Sew blocks together to complete the quilt top.
Finishing:
- Layer the backing, batting and quilt top. Quilt by hand or machine, as desired.
- Sew binding strips together to form one long strip. Fold wrong sides together lengthwise and press.
- With a 1/4" seam, sew the raw edges of the binding to the edges of the right side of the quilt. Turn the folded edge of the binding to the back side of the quilt and stitch in place by hand, mitering the corners.
