Notes:
- Finished Size: 9" x 10"
- All seam allowances are 1/4" unless otherwise noted.
- Fat 1/8 = Approximately 9" x 22"
- * = Adhere fusible adhesive to back of fabric before die-cutting the shapes.
- ** = Place fabric right sides together when die-cutting the shapes.
Assembling the Project:
- Place tummy on the front side of the body, centering it, as well as aligning the bottom straight sides. Press to set in place.
- Arrange the muzzle at the top of the tummy (it will overlap approximately 1") before pressing to set. Arrange the outer eyes so the bottom edges are just tucked under the muzzle. Press all three pieces to set.
- Arrange and press the nose and the two pupils in the center of the outer eyes. Topstitch all of the appliqués as desired, as well as a mouth.
- With right sides together, sew two sets of ears and four sets of arms/legs. Clip the curves, and turn right sides out. Fill the arms and legs with fiberfill.
- Arrange the ears at the top of the head. Pin the raw edges together (with ears facing inward) following the curve of the head.
- Arrange and pin the arms and legs facing inward on the front of the body. Place the body back on top with right sides facing, and pin to front of the body. Sew around the outer edge, leaving an opening along the side for turning.
- Clip curves, turn right sides out and fill with fiberfill. Hand stitch the opening closed. For Maggie, tie a bow with ribbon, and hand stitch to head.
