Happy Friday makers!
I am so happy that the weekend is here because I cannot wait to make some of these cute DIYs! I'm always on the hunt for home decor DIYs that add some kind of value to my home. Whether it is funny, cute or just plain inspirational value, I love how these DIYs add something to the home.
Having just moved into my first adult apartment , I'm very excited to start decorating. Check out these really fun additions to your home.
Although this feather mobile is made for a nursery, how cute would this look in a home office? I love the gold, black and grey colors of the original mobile, but it would be extremely easy to change it up to fit your own color scheme. Personally though, I'm keeping the glitter "feathers".
This DIY makes me want to scream with happiness! The colors are just so gorgeous. My Sister's Suitcase Blog is a genius for coming up with this cute tutorial. What an easy way to add a pop of color to your bed!
I'm a huge fan of mixed media and color. This cute dream catcher DIY makes me want to drop everything and just craft. How beautiful would this be on top of the mantle or in place of a headboard? The possibilities and color coordination are just endless!
I've seen a few yarn garlands here and there, but this one really caught my eye. I love the addition of the macrame and I think it would make a fantastic banner for a party, Who doesn't love decor that can be used at a party and then taken home to be used on the walls? Double dipping decor is what it is all about!
This is a perfect project for those who have too much yarn and an irrational fear of chandeliers falling down (just me?) The only thing I would add to this light weight chandelier is the addition of some paper flowers on the rim and some sparkle.
I am one of those people who loves to add a wreath to everything and for every single occasion and how cute is this wreath? I give it a 5 on the "going home to make this right now" scale. The Craft Patch Blog shows you how to make this by hand, but I'm going to personally use my Sizzlits decorative strip medallion die to crank these out fast!
These mini granite pots are super cute and unbelievably easy to make! How cute would these be dipped in half gold and half granite? I feel like these would be perfect on the balcony or by the mantle of the fireplace.
These shelves are going to take a little bit of time and some tools, but the end result is just gorgeous! I'm a sucker for geometric shapes, but I specially love how they all have a cohesive and yet slightly different look.
This wreath is perfect for a bedroom or bathroom. I love the colors and different flowers that were used. It seems like a labor intensive project, but with our Peony and 3-d Flowers die, it actually works up really fast.
There are not enough good things I could say about this cute applique pillow! This pillow is perfect for making with kiddos, to add to your make space or even as a seat cushion! Made with our Fox die, this cutie will be a fast project as well!
Tim Holtz has done it again. These dies are perfect for adding an extra edge to your projects, but I personally really like to use them as luminaries for the patio. I combine these dies with vellum paper that give candles a soft glow when used as a centerpiece or patio decor.
That's all for this weekend makers, what DIYs are you excited to make?
