Awesome. Non-stop. Glitter "body art". Feather Necklaces. Dog-tag Key-chains. Fun. Amazing. Perfect. Exhilarating. All of these words and more describe our experience at Brit+Co's Re:Make 2015. Instead of the usual recap, (Re:Cap?) we decided we needed to explain exactly why Brit+Co's Re:Make2015 was so awesome. So, we came up with 10 reasons. (Though there are SO many more.) Let's get to it.
1.) For anyone who is a fan of Brit+Co, it's easy to understand why Brit landed our #1 reason. Entrepreneur, author, founder & CEO of Brit+Co, (and she recently added "Mommy to that resume) Brit and her team made their 3rd annual Re:Make conference a literal smash hit. We had an epic "fan girl" moment meeting her. She. Is. The. Best.
2.) Our childhood dreams seemed to be recognized with this GIANT coloring book, which everyone was not only allowed, but encouraged to help color in. How could we not get excited about this?! (Photo Credit 44ian)
3.) Welcoming us on our first day of the confrence, Michael's Arts & Crafts had notebooks, watercolors, and paintbrushes laying out for us on our tables. Leisurely painting ensued, reinforcing to all of us that #iamcreative wasn't just a super cool hashtag, but a way of thinking and being. (Photo Credit: Brit)
4.) Thank you Hershey's. We definitely got to treat ourselves with their "Treat Yo Self" candy bar. No, not a candy-bar, a literal bar with different candies. (NOMS!) Of course they had their delicious chocolate bar, but they stepped it up with the technology- 3D printed chocolate bars. So freaking cool.
5.) All hail this bombshell. Singer/songwriter Bonnie Mckee stunned us all with her AMAZING performance of her medleys, most of which we recognized, but had no clue who the writer of those songs were. Until then. #amazed
6.) The fantastical Lindsey Stirling. NEED WE SAY MORE?! Who else can put on a performance like she can? Dancing, violin playing, original music... #obsessed.
7.) We had to include our booth on this list. And honestly, how could we not? It looked hands down amazing. With our 10x20 Make Station that highlighted our eclips2, jewelry, party, and paper, we shared with the lovely people at Brit+Co's Re:Make 2015 how our products can be easily used for home decor and all around lifestyle awesomeness.
8.) Feathers have long been a huge trend for crafting and even tattoos. However, at Sizzix, we wanted to put a twist on the typical feather. We added our own flair to the feather trend by taking it to the jewelry side of the crafting world. We absolutely love the visual appeal to these leather necklaces. But don't just take our word for it....

9.) Not wanting to just cater to the typical crafting projects that often times only attract women, we decided to offer a game changer with our Dog-tag Key-chain. Using the recognizable and timeless shape of a dog-tag, we modernized it by adding geometric designs and embellishments to create some pretty wicked key-chains. Seriously, check out these other ones.

10.) We feel this is somewhat self explanatory. Glitter "body art"? Yes. Always a yes. We had so much fun adding the glittery fun to people's day with this project. Best part: having all of the Brit+Co staff coming to us for their own glitter "body art" and realizing at the end of the conference, everyone we bumped into had been glittered by Sizzix.

We had such a blast, and saw and experienced so many amazingly wonderful things. It would be wrong of us to not include honorable mentions.
#1: The Crayola Photo Booth. Seriously. Amazing. How we didn't spend all of our free time making taking crazy pictures is beyond us. Photo Credit: Courtney Pilgrim
#2: Hashtag Galore! Not only were there hashtags on the floor, they were inspiring. From reminding us what event we were at with #remake2015 to instilling in us that #iamcreative, the uniqueness of the hashtagged floor made us giddy and ready to share to our respective social media platforms the awesomeness we were taking part in.
#3 Bright colors. Balloons. Tassles. It was an imagination explosion of decorations. We literally could not help but be happy and inspired by our surroundings. Photo Credit: Honey Book
#4 The goodies. The freebies. All of it. So much yes. Photo Credit: LuLu
Amazing. Awesome. Exciting. Absolutely perfect. Thank you SO much to Brit+Co for including us in Re:Make 2015. #sizzixlovesbrit
