Hello everyone! Genevive here from Thoughtful Crafts, excited to share with you what I have for the Holidays! Christmas is just around the corner and making our loved ones happy by spending time with them and giving gifts, with handmade cards and gift tags are still the surest, best way to celebrate it. Don't you think? :)
I used the Sizzix Bigz XL Library Pocket Die and Sizzix Bigz L Die - Mini Inserts & Envelopes along with Sizzix Big Shot machine and accessories, patterned papers, buttons, washi tapes, twines and other little embellishments to make these cuties.
I started by preparing the die-cuts and to do this, I assembled my sandwich: (from bottom to top): Sizzix Extended Cutting Pad + die + paper + Sizzix Extended Crease Pad. Roll the sandwich through the machine. And out comes the perfectly cut, scored die-cuts. Just need to fold along the scored lines, glue the flaps and decorate!
And here are the mini envelopes that can turn a plain gift box into something very special just by adding a little written note inside.
Now for some close ups...
Spending an extra few seconds to add twine to these buttons is definitely worth it :)
A flat card can look fancy by just adding just a bit of glitter!
And of course, almost always, you will always have those little knick knacks on your craft table that you've been wanting to use. Like little gold dewdrops, pin, washi tapes. Use it!
