I used the Gift Card Box die to make a box filled with tags. This is such a useful sized box, I'll be reaching for it a lot. The box and some of the tags were die cut from Authentique's lovely Classique Pretty papers. This is an XL die, so you need one Extended Cutting Pad and the Extended Premium Crease Pad. Cutting sandwich: cutting pad, die facing upwards, material to be die cut, crease pad.
The box was embellished simply, with a label die cut with the Embossed Gift Tags set, word stickers, three paper roses and an old button.
The die both cuts and creases the paper, making the box very easy to assemble. There is also an insert that is supposed to hold a gift card, but since I decided to fill my box with tags, I didn't use it. I thought this would be a nice gift for someone since they can use the tags to quickly embellish gifts.
The Embossed Gift Tag Set contains 8 dies and three coordinating Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. It is a really great set and the tags, labels, pocket and small embellishments have wonderful shapes. I die cut some tags from Kraft-core card stock only and embossed in the folders. For the others, I die cut a smaller label from Kraft-core and the larger one from patterned paper, layering them together.
You can make endless variations on these tags by varying the papers and shapes. Love this sweet happy birthday embossing folder.
There is also a welcome baby Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
The third Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is a happy birthday one, with a cupcake shape. I die cut the cupcake from patterned paper and placed it on top of the embossed one.
Thank you so much for looking at my project!
