The inside pages are made using the Pocket Page & Tag pro die so, you need to die cut three pocket pages from kraft cardstock. Fold and crease the pages so that the pocket faces the outside of the page.
Using the Banners #2 Framelits, die cut four banners from sticky back canvas. Stamp with the sentiment.
Cut four strips of patterned paper (about 1 1/2" X 6 3/4") you want it the same length as the Thinlits packaging. Punch the holes close to the left side of each strip, machine stitch around each strip and adhere one to the front cover aligning the holes. Adhere a piece of lace down the strip. Adhere one of the banners to the right corner (where the Sizzix lettering is).
Turn the page over and adhere another paper strip again, lining it up with the front side. Repeat the exact same steps with the back cover.
All the pocket pages are assembled the same way by taking a doily and folding it half and adhering to the front and back of the page. The middle page is done by using a die cut doily which I will mention down further.
This is the back of the page. I did adhere my pages together so there would be less bulk but it is not necessary. To bind the album together, use two pieces of jute string and tie into a bow on the front cover. Do not tie real tight, you want to be able to turn the pages easily.
Die cut from patterned paper six tags using the Pocket Page & Tag pro die. In the tops, thread jute string and lace.
Now, I will walk you thru each page. Die cut a Butterflight strip and trim to fit the bottom of the page. Machine stitch down the middle of each butterfly. Die cut a strip from the Doily & Doily #2 set, trim to fit along the top of pocket tucking it just behind the doily. Die cut a crown, adhere to the left upper corner adding a mini clip and small pearls on the crown. Stamp sentiment and tuck a tag in the pocket.
Die cut another Butterflight strip and trim to fit the bottom of page stitching in the middle of the butterflies. Stamp sentiment. In between each pocket page, insert a journaling page from white cardstock (there are six total). On the right side of the page, add a tab to the back using the File Tabs die and adhere another cardstock page (so that you have just one page but the file tab is sandwiched in between the two). Stamp some lines on the front and back of each page as well as the crown at the top. Adhere a piece of washi tape just below the crown and add a word sticker.
This is the back of the page... do exactly the same as you did the front side. On the pocket page, this doily is die cut from white paper using the Scalloped Circle Insert and stamping with a sentiment. Adhere a piece of lace at the top of the pocket. Die cut a Butterfly and adhere, adding some rhinestones in the middle of the butterfly. Adhere a small "M" card (Tim Holtz) in the middle of the doily and add a word sticker. Die cut from felt, the heart from the Retro Camera Icons set, adhering a piece of patterned paper behind the heart and adhere as shown. Adhere the small center heart (from the circle you just cut) as shown, adhering a small wooden heart in the center. Tuck a tag in the pocket.
Adhere a piece of lace at the top of the pocket. From the Retro Camera Icons set, die cut the zig zag strip and trim to fit the top of the pocket. Die cut a small banner from sticky back canvas using the Banners #2 set and stamp the sentiment in the middle of the banner. Staple the top of the banner, adhere to the top of the doily and add a button to the side. Die cut another Butterfly, adhere adding a small button in the center. Stamp sentiment at the bottom of the page. Tuck a tag in the pocket. Repeat the instructions for the journaling page above.
Repeat the instructions from above for the back side of the journaling page. Stamp sentiment towards the left side of the pocket. Die cut two hearts, one from felt and one from fabric using the Primitive Hearts die. Adhere a wooden heart and rhinestone. Tuck a tag in the pocket.
Die cut from felt the Flower, assemble and adhere in the middle of the doily tucking a couple of small leaves behind the flower (cut two small "V" shapes from felt). Stamp your sentiment and tuck a tag in the pocket.
Whew! Are you still with me? It is a long post but really easy to assemble. Now, you can tuck pictures in the pockets or any other memorable items. The tags would be awesome with some pictures attached to them too!
I hope you enjoyed the long but well worth it tutorial.
