Hi everyone, Mou here with today's Sizzix Inspiration.
Lay patterned paper face down on the blade side of the Notepad Cover Bigz L die. Put the pieces between one standard Cutting Pad at the bottom and one Premium Crease Pad at the top and pass the sandwich through the Big Shot machine. The crease pad ensures clear crease lines for easier folding of the die cut pieces.
This Notepad Cover die cuts not only the notepad cover but also some embellishments like a rosette and a butterfly. Fold the scalloped strip following crease lines to make the rosette. Secure rosette with strong adhesive.
Apply liquid adhesive to the butterfly die cut. Cover with glitter and let it sit. Later, shake off excess glitter and layer the glittered butterfly on top of the scalloped circle. Attach the scalloped circle to the rosette. Set aside. Fussy cut a flower from patterned paper. Add some gold paint to the notepad cover. When dry, attach the fussy cut flower to the front top flap. Attach the decorated rosette overlapping the flowers on the top flap.
Write recipient's name on a small label and tuck it under the rosette. Add the sticky note pad inside in the middle section of the notepad cover. Close the flap and your little gift is ready for someone special.
Here's a closer look at the finished piece. You can change the color scheme or embellishments to make it work for any occasion or to give a little love to someone any day of the year.
