The Milk Carton thinlets die creates a cute little carton, the perfect size for filling with treats or small gifts. Let me show you how to put this project together.

To begin, I made paper selections for my project. I chose this cute spring colored patterned paper, and because it's double-sided, my carton will be cute on the inside, too! I have coordinating prints as well, which I will use for creating embellishments for my project. Once the carton was die cut, I die cut a little egg shaped peek-a-boo window in my carton using an egg shaped die from the Sizzix Egg framelits set.

If you make peek-a-boo windows in your cartons, you will want to have a clear material to act as the glass in the window of your carton. I chose to cut a rectangle from one of the Sizzix embossing folder packaging containers I've saved, and it worked great! I assembled the carton and adhered the clear acetate to the inside of the carton using double-sided adhesive.

Next I prepared my embellishments. I chose to use this super cute little chick from the Sizzix Easter framelits and stamp set. I stamped the chick on watercolor paper with black StazOn ink.

Next, I colored the stamped chick using watercolor pencils and a water brush. Quick and easy!

Using the egg shaped dies from the same Easter stamp and framelits set, I die cut several eggs from coordinating papers. I also created a small grass border using the grass stamp and die from the same set. I die cut the chick, and added a red heart gem over top of where the heart was stamped on the chick.

Once my stamped and die cut pieces were ready, I added them to my assembled carton, making sure to leave a little bit of the egg shaped peek-a-boo window showing.

To dress up the carton even more, I created some butterfly embellishments from coordinating papers. To create the butterflies, I die cut the designer paper using the Sizzix Butterfly Frenzy decorative strip die. Once the butterflies were die cut, I inked the edges of their wings with coordinating Distress Inks and added self-adhesive gems to their centers.

I created a sentiment banner using a sentiment from the Easter stamp and framelits set, and embellished it with more butterflies. To close the carton, I chose a coordinating colored mini binder clip from my stash. Another quick and easy accessory!

    I think this may be the cutest milk carton I've ever seen! I was just the other saying to myself that I need to make some for Spring/Easter treat holders and now look--this beautiful inspiration by Anna using a wonderful milk carton die! LOVE it!!     Thank you for the adorable milk carton creation. This die is one of my favorites. I just finished making a dozen, to hold Halloween treats. Also a great way to give $ gifts, to teen aged grandchildren.
