To make your own planner stickers, you'll need your Sizzix cutting machine and accessories, shipping labels (which is essentially sticker paper), markers and/or coloring pencils, and, of course, Katelyn Lizardi's Planner Pages Collection: the Get it Done Framelits Die Set with Stamps and the Make Today Count Framelits Die Set with Stamps.  A full list of supplies can be found at the bottom of the post.

To begin making your planner stickers, you'll need to stamp designs all over one of the shipping label sticker sheets. Attach the clear stamps that come with the Get It Done Framelit Set and the Make Today Count Framelit Set to a clear acrylic block.  Load the stamps with ink and stamp on the sticker paper.  Keep in mind that you can stamp sentiments inside the frames and inside the arrows.  You can use any color ink, but I chose to use black ink so that my stickers would be like mini coloring pages.

After stamping your images, it's time to color them.  You can use all different types of supplies to add color to your sticker paper.  I used Distress Ink and a blending tool, colored pencils, pens, and markers.  While you're adding color, don't be afraid to add pattern to some of the stamped images that are just outlines.

Once everything is colored, it's time to die cut your stickers.  You can use several of the different Sizzix cutting machines for this, but I used my Sizzix Big Shot Plus.  If you're using the Big Shot Plus, place Adapter Pad A on your Big Shot Plus Platform.  Cover that with a Big Shot Plus Cutting Pad.  Place your stamped and colored sticker paper on top.  Frame each of your images with the corresponding Planner Pages Framelit Die placed face-down.  Cover with another Cutting Pad and roll through your Big Shot Plus.

Repeat the above process until all your stickers are die cut.

If you're keeping the planner stickers for yourself, you can stop at the above step, but if you'd like to give them as a back-to-school gift, you'll need something to place them in for gift-giving.  I used the Sizzix Bigz XL Die - Card, A2 w/ Flap to cut a fun card to hold my stickers.  To cut the card, use the following Sizzix sandwich: Cutting Pad, XL Die, paper, Extended Premium Crease Pad.  You can decorate the outside of the card with washi, stamps, and even some of your stickers.

On the inside of the card, I used the Sizzix Clear Stamp - Alphabet to stamp "Planner Stickers," and I wrote directions for use of the planner stickers underneath.  I simply attached the planner stickers to the card using a small amount of double sided adhesive on the back.

When the card is closed, it's super cute!

And when it's open, it's super cute AND useful!  Having pretty school supplies makes going back to school after summer break a little easier, so having these fun planner stickers are sure to brighten the day of your child's teacher or YOU if you're a teacher or a planner mom!

Thanks so much for hanging out with me today for this Sizzix tutorial!  Happy (back-to-school) crafting!

Bethany
