It's been a great few weeks of makes. I've been so happy with all the different entries from everyone who has participated. It was very exciting to see how everyone took my Succulent Serenity collection and turned it into very creative projects. Earlier today I choose a winner on the Sizzix Instagram stories and I now get to reveal that winner to you. Without further ado I'm happy to announce that the winner is...
Pamela J Lane!
Congrats to Pamela! I love how she went a little outside the box with her thinking. Just like the inspiration I posted on my Instagram, she used a different color pallet to create her succulents and I think they have a wonderful effect.
But I can't stop there....I want to show off all the beautiful entries this Maker Challenge received.
Pamela submitted 2 makes and this is her second one. I think she did a great job incorporating my 2-D and 3-D succulents in this home decor project. She also added a "dad" sign which I thought was very cute and cool!
Joyce Boylan used my Geometric Holder and my 2-D and 3-D Succulent die to create this awesome project. I really love the color and the simplicity.
Andrea Venini submitted two really fantastic projects. I love how she created a shadowbox with 3 of my succulents and used a few more to adorn a succulent crate. That's one of my favorite ways to show off my succulents too!
This wonderful piece comes from Diane Ouellette and I love how she added a pearlescent depth to my Geometric Holder. It makes it look like it's created out of something other than paper.
This vibrant make was submitted by Ivy Wong and I love how she snuck in a real succulent! It made me smile, can you tell which is real and which is fake? Her project is so realistic I had to do a double take!
Mitsyana Wright submitted this creation on Instagram and she used my succulent line in a totally different way. She took my Journaling card die and a few pages from my Succulent Art Journal to create these awesome Journaling cards. The colors are beautiful!
Last but not least are these three incredibly inspirational projects from Pam Bray. She did such an outstanding job. Using my Succulent Sentiments Stamps and Framelits set she created a gorgeous birthday and thank you card. I love the natural colors of the cards and the added ribbon. She also created a stunning mixed media project using various images from my Succulent Art Journal. For her last project, I really enjoyed seeing how Pam used my Barrel Cactus Thinlit to create a home decor piece with a sprinkle of my 3-D succulents.
Thank you so much for sharing all your makes. It was so thrilling to see what everyone created. I hope you had as much fun making as I did and I'll see you next time!
