Deck the halls, shine the jingle bells and get ready to spruce up your Christmas gifts. Nicole here wearing my Santa hat and I am loving these new Katelyn Lizardi Holiday dies. These Sizzix Framelits Dies with Stamp are the perfect fit for Christmas Cards or in my case Gift Tags. Check these 3 tutorials for a quick tag to add bling to your holiday gift giving.
Get a mug of Hot Chocolate topped with marshmallows and a candy cane stir stick and scroll through this holiday tag inspiration.
Crisp blues and greens for this gift tag. Cut Super Stock Cardstock with the Tag and Tie. Stamp the Christmas Star and the wee baby stars with Archival Jet Black. The Framelits Die frames the stamp for the perfect cut. Now that’s how to fussy cut.
The stamp design is perfect for distress markers and a little coloring.
Help the layers pop with a little inking around the edges. Apply some Distress Clear Rock Candy Stickles to the Christmas Star for a touch of shimmer. All the stars have 3D Foam Squares because I love dimension.
I stamped the tag with the teeny snowflakes from the Christmas Magic Stamp Set in Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and #believe for the sentiment.
Tied off with Tinsel Twine this icy tag with all it’s color, dimension and glitter will be stunning on one of those Cookies in a Jars. You know you love it!
Glory to the King
The Glory to the King Framelits w/ Stamp set has it’s own mini tag… which I love! Of course I had to use all the dies. Create a background with the little snowflake stamps. Why… because it’s fun and you can.
Ink the tag with Oxides and the new Plaid Stencil. Apply the Candied Apple first, then offset with the Lucky Clover. It’s so festive and pretty.
Pop all the layers with 3D Foam Squares and add some holly jolly festive twine. Imagine hanging this around a bottle of wine for the neighbors.
Three Turtle Doves… or in this case one very glittery pretty stamped one. I have this glitter cardstock that I stamped and cut. You even get a “Peace” die. The Dove reminds me of a Scandinavian Christmas design so I kept to candied apple red to pop this design.
Ohhhh look at these little Holly Berry cuts. I just adore them colored with distress markers, candied apple, pine needle and peeled paint. Prep the distress woodgrain paper tag with distress inks vintage photo and walnut stain.
With this tag all inked up to look like a piece of cedar I dipped my splatter brush into the distress paint picket fence. Create the snowy look by pulling the bristles thus allowing a good splattered snow effect.
Pop up the holly and dove and attach the die cut words. This rustic tag makes me think of a crackling fire with the stockings hung with care.
