    Since April 2013, the Charity Wings Art & Craft Center in San Marcos (San Diego), Calif., has delivered on the vision of its founder, Elena Lai Etcheverry, to provide an inspiring place for people of all ages to gather, give back and create. Partnering with other non-profits all over the world, the center hosts free classes and events for their beneficiaries on site or through live streaming, delivering the hope, happiness, and healing that only art can provide! Charity Wings Art & Craft Center memberships support non-profit programs, as well as give members access to open studio time, classes, events and opportunities for giving. Fundraising for other non-profits through their special events, Charity Wings has raised funds for over 70 worthy causes and counting.

    From the time she was a child, it was clear that Courtney Chilson had a career in art. Starting in kindergarten, she found herself more attracted to the finger painting station while the other kids played with toys. After earning her B.F.A. in Illustration from Cal State Fullerton, she continued to express herself through her painting, while being heavily influenced by her love of pop culture. As a Sizzix in-house designer, Courtney uses both traditional drawing and digital technique to complement her fresh and youthful approach. Outside of work, Courtney, a lifelong Southern California resident, spends her free time working on her art, as well as hanging out with family and friends and spending as much time as possible at Disneyland.

    Kathy Cano-Murillo is an author, artist and founder of the award-winning DIY and crafts lifestyle site, craftychica.com. Known for her glittery and colorful “Mexi-boho” style, she has been a brand ambassador for companies such as Disney®, Lowe’s® Home Improvement Stores, Big Lots™, CoffeeMate® and more. Her Crafty Chica product line has been showcased in Michaels® stores for the fall season. She has authored nine books, two of them novels. She has been featured in The New York Times, USA Today, HGTV, DIY Network, Lifetime TV and others. Her hand-painted creations have been carried in more than 300 shops across the country, including Bloomingdales and Target®. She is a third-generation Mexican-American, a native Phoenician, mom and wife with five pet Chihuahuas.

  • Debi Potter

    Debi has been papercrafting for more than 10 years and currently spends her days working as a freelance designer creating inspirational projects for the consumer craft magazines in the UK. More recently, Debi has turned her attention to working with fabric to create stylish home décor projects and describes her style as shabby chic using florals, stripes and polka dots. When she's not tending to magazine submissions, Debi runs workshops at craft shops and consumer craft fairs. This allows her to share ideas and spend time with fellow crafters.

  • Deena Ziegler

    Deena has always stored memorabilia in albums but has been "officially" scrapbooking for more than 15 years now. Her favorite scrapbooking subjects are her daughters, Niguel and Kylah, and she will always set aside time to scrapbook when they are willing to join her. Deena and her husband, Randy, have also collected many travel photos through the years, which she enjoys scrapbooking. Deena has a love of cardmaking and teaches monthly card classes at a local store and online. When Deena's not scrapbooking her personal memories, she's here at Sizzix helping to inspire you with new techniques and creative ways to use your die-cuts.

  • Eileen Hull

    Eileen grew up in a large family where there was always an art project in the works. She has applied her creative thinking to all sorts of life and career events - from adjusting to thirteen military moves and raising four children to developing product lines for craft manufacturers. In 2009, Sizzix launched her first ScoreBoards™ dies, which are specially designed to cut and score matboard and thicker materials. Eileen enjoys working with recycled materials and "treasures" from thrift stores, or even better, those found on the curb! Eileen resides in Herndon, Virginia with her husband. The couple's newest addition is a vintage camper refurbished as a mobile studio, which she used to travel the country during her 2-month Paper Trail tour.

  • E.L. Smith

    E.L. has been working for Ellison for more than 10 years. Along with her die designing, she also does packaging and graphic design for Ellison. When not designing dies, she enjoys watercolor painting, gardening and spending time with her grandsons. E.L. has a great love of color, which she uses often in her painting and gardening.

  • Emily Humble

    Emily designed for Ellison for more than 5 years. Emily was recently married when she started at Ellison and since then she has had two beautiful girls. She is a graduate of Laguna College of Art and Design where she majored in Illustration. She loves children's books and gets a lot of her inspiration from those illustrations. She loved watching and working with the girls in the art room at Ellison, who gave her lots of inspiration from their creations. While at Ellison, she did what she loved and she loved what she did.

    Bringing the classic look of the rural French countryside to the United States, French General is a vintage craft store/workshop located in Los Angeles, California. Specializing in beads, buttons, millinery and textiles, their French-inspired collection is all about crafting with beautiful textiles and a simple vintage color palette. Having personally combed French flea markets for many of her unique treasures, Kaari Meng, the founder and owner of French General, has designed jewelry for Anthropologie, quilt fabrics for Moda, textiles for Fabricut  and has authored several books, including French-Inspired Jewelry, The French Inspired Home, Handmade Soirees, Treasured Notions and more.     Hampton Art was founded in 1980 by the Gallagher family. For over 20 years, the Gallagher's manufactured premium quality rubber stamps, clear stamps and stamping accessories featuring popular designer lines. The company was sold in 2007 to National Spinning in North Carolina and continues its tradition of creating premium products while expanding the company's offerings with new and exciting partnerships such as the recent collaboration with Sizzix.

  • Jennifer Jangles

    Jennifer Heynen, also known as Jennifer Jangles, is a licensed artist, pattern designer and ceramic artist, who strives to create colorful, happy projects. In her 20 years as a self-supported artist, Jennifer has designed for companies such as In the Beginning Fabrics, Caffco International and Flagology. She has also been featured in publications such as Quilts and More, Quilting Arts and American Quilt Retailer among others. Additionally, Jennifer has authored the book Stitch Kitsch to help beginner sewers create fun and easy projects. When not sewing, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, playing with her dogs Otis and Rhubarb, and drinking mochas on her porch.   • Jen Long

    Jen grew up in Southern California, receiving her B.F.A. from Otis College of Art and Design as well as an M.F.A. in Illustration from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). An internship followed at Walt Disney Studios based in Character Art at their Consumer Products Division. Her work is a strong combination of both traditional drawing skills and digital technique. Her professional experience includes teaching at the collegiate level for CSUF, digital character art for Disney including the Phineas and Ferb show and professional book illustration. Currently Jen works as the Creative Director for Sizzix.

  • Jill MacKay

    Inspired by the patterns and forms of nature, Jill MacKay is an accomplished jewelry designer, sculptor, teacher, author and consultant. Her enthusiasm and 25 years of creative experience make her one of the most skilled, diversified and sought-after artists today. The Jill MacKay brand continues to evolve and charm, selling in over 2000 stores internationally, on television and online. Among her accomplishments, Jill has designed for the soap opera, Guiding Light, and Star Trek: The Next Generation.   • Jorli Perine

    Jorli can't remember a time when she wasn't drawing or painting. By age 5, she was sketching recognizable portraits. Her official training began as the recipient of the Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts scholarship, and continued with her art education at Brigham Young University and Laguna College of Art and Design. Her mother, LaDorna Eichenberg, the founder of Ellison Educational Equipment, involved Jorli in the business from the beginning by having her cut out pink felt bunnies and send them to teachers. Throughout the years, Jorli has filled many company roles. Her artwork launched the first 2000 Ellison Educational dies. She still designs for Ellison, Sizzix and the quilting segment of the business, while pursuing her fine arts career.

  • Katelyn Lizardi

    Growing up in a family of artists, Katelyn has been drawing ever since she can remember. As a graduate from California State University, Fullerton, Katelyn received her B.F.A. in Illustration. Throughout her career, she has worked as a graphic designer and freelance illustrator. She describes her style as whimsical, colorful and laced with delicately patterned details. When she is not designing product for Sizzix, Katelyn spends her free time painting children's book illustrations and blogging about her art adventures. She is also a huge foodie and can often be found cooking and eating with her family of seven.

    A proud member of the Hampton Art family, KI Memories has been designing happy and fun scrapbooking products since 2001. As an innovator in creativity, the company designs and manufactures decorative papers, stickers, stamps, embellishments and albums for scrapbook enthusiasts worldwide.   • Kid Giddy

    Kerry Goulder has been sewing for fun since she can remember. After a sculpture class in college, a wedding and two children, Kerry began designing many unique patterns under her Kid Giddy® label, and wrote her first book, Sewing Tales to Stitch and Love: 18 Toy Patterns for the Storytelling Sewist, with F+W Media. Kerry's company motto is to "add more giddy to your life." This is a constant reminder to have fun and to do things that make you happy, which, of course, means more sewing. Kerry lives in Southern Maine with her husband and their two daughters. When she's not sewing, she loves to run and is training for her third degree black belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate.

Laura has a lifelong background in elementary education with many years of working with students of all ages.   • Lindsey Serata

    Lindsey was born and raised in Northridge, California, and began her artistic career at age 7 when her parents enrolled her in drawing and painting classes. She attributes her passion for art to her grandparents who were not only artists themselves, but also instilled a love of storytelling through animation. Her journey led her to California State University, Fullerton where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. When she’s not designing for Sizzix, Lindsey can be found plein air painting, developing character and environment designs for animation, and making her friends and family laugh.

  • Lori Whitlock

    After several years of working in a design studio, Lori found her true passion developing products for the crafting industry. Over the past 10 years, Lori has designed for many prominent companies in our industry. Lori currently licenses paper designs and fabric, as well as digital cutting files and scrapbooking files. Sizzix proudly welcomes Lori as a licensed designer for its brand new assortment of designs to enhance cardmaking, scrapbooking, home décor and other handmade crafts. With many practical and dimensional base dies at its core, the collection offers unlimited embellishing possibilities with her paper, fabric or other material.

  • Luisa Elena Guillén-K.

    As the Sizzix Latin America Sales Representative, Luisa Elena Guillén-K. is a Venezuelan artist who comes to us with 25 years of experience in the crafts industry. Cardmaker, calligrapher and acrylic and watercolor artist, Luisa has led seminars in several different countries, demonstrating the creativity that Sizzix has to offer. She has appeared numerous times on news outlets in Latin America to showcase her beautiful artistry. A graduate of Indiana University, Luisa attended Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City prior to earning her M.B.A. in International Business from Pace University.

  • Lynda Kanase

    When Lynda isn’t creating new designs for Sizzix as a Senior Product Designer, she can be found creating in her studio. With a formal degree in Graphic Design, she is also a life-long artist and maker. She has experimented with everything from watercolor painting and wood carving to quilting and silk screen printing. Throughout her career, she has designed innovative packaging, book and magazine designs and advertising for large corporations, but her passion has always been making art. She feels it was true serendipity when she came to Sizzix. In those brief moments when she isn’t designing, crafting, teaching, thrifting or blogging, she and her boyfriend can be found relaxing and traveling in their motorhome.   • Missouri Star Quilt Co.

    Starting small and aiming high, the family-owned Missouri Star Quilt Company began in November 2008, selling a few quilting supplies and offering machine quilting services from its Hamilton, MO store. The decision was made to grow the business online with web-based tutorials for beginning and advanced quilters. It wasn't long before Missouri Star became the biggest quilting channel on YouTube and began offering pre-cut fabrics as its core product. These stylish bundles, cut in various shapes and sizes and in an array of coordinating prints from designer fabric lines, grew the business exponentially. In less than four years, Missouri Star has been able to offer the world's largest selection of pre-cut fabrics and is a natural choice for its own line of Sizzix dies.

  • Pete Hughes

    For over ten years, Pete has been inspiring UK and European crafters with his amazing ideas. After leaving school, Pete trained as an illustrator, specializing in cartoons and caricatures before taking up a position for an educational publishing company. Pete has worked for Ellison since 2005, where he enjoys producing projects for UK and European magazines, trade shows and demonstrations. Pete is also featured regularly on television demonstrating Sizzix products, most recently on QVC. Says Pete, "My inspiration comes mainly from our wonderful customers." Pete lives in the picturesque town of Llangollen in North Wales with his wife and two children. In his spare time, Pete helps out at his local karate club, plays and collects electric guitars and follows his beloved Liverpool Football Club.

  • Rachael Bright

    Rachael has loved art & design for as far back as she can remember. Born and raised in Southern California, Rachael grew up on the beach, sailing back and forth from Catalina Island. She has a passion for animals and says they seem to find her "like Ace Ventura" if they need help or a home. She loves hiking with friends and spending time with her dish-washing, rescue dog, Lily. She loves to travel (nine countries and counting!) and lived, worked and went to college in Paris, France. Rachael says, "I just love my job as a Sizzix designer and working in such a creative atmosphere. It's a dream come true for me and I hope our customers feel that 'Joi de Vivre' when they use my designs."

  • Rosebud's Cottage

    Roseann Meehan Kermes not only designs and writes about quilting, but also owns Rosebud's Cottage, a Minnesota quilt shop known for its hand-dyed wool and unique kits. For over 20 years, working with wool has been her passion – everything from appliqué, rug hooking and stitching with wool thread! As a teenager, she competed in the Make It Yourself With Wool contest regularly and raised sheep for the 4-H Club. For five years, she had a club called the Muddy Sheep Wool Club of fellow wool-loving quilters. Now Roseann spins her wool message to the Sizzix community for personalized table coverings, purses, full-sized quilts and even piecing. Roseann is the proud mom of three young men whom she deeply treasures.

    Scrappy Cat is an internationally recognized brand in the scrapbooking and paper crafting industry. Founded in 2003 by Kim Roberto, the company debuted its products in February of 2004 at the HIA Show (now called CHA) in Dallas, Texas, and was immediately recognized by Creating Keepsakes Magazine with a 2004 New Product(s) Editor's Choice Award.   • Sew Sweetness

    Sara Lawson is the designer behind the sewing pattern company, Sew Sweetness. Her passion is making bags, garments and quilts. She started her blog in September 2010 while learning how to sew as an adult. (She learned the basics in 3rd grade during weekly sewing lessons from her mom.) She began designing free bag patterns for Pellon in December 2011, and since then, has written two books, Big-City Bags and Windy City Bags. She has worked for Aurifil, Art Gallery Fabrics and Craftsy, and her patterns have appeared in many publications. In addition to sewing, Sara loves horses, reading, music and Australian Shepherds. She lives with her husband and two children in Chicago, Illinois.

  • Sharyn Sowell

    Mixed-media artist Sharyn Sowell is a true artisan who combines her hand-cut paper creations with watercolor, calligraphy and typography. Stephanie draws upon her vast experiences in stamp carving, stitching, art journaling, making tags and working with canvas and wood to inspire this uniquely upbeat collection just for you!

  • Stephanie Barnard

    If it's possible to live, breathe, eat and sleep scrapbooking and stamping, Stephanie Barnard is giving it her best shot. Besides serving as the Sizzix spokesperson, she also offers the company's research and development team invaluable insights into new products from the crafter's perspective. She is also a licensed designer and the inspiration behind her own line of creative products for Sizzix. Stephanie is the owner and designer of a clear stamp company, The Stamps of Life. Their stamps are proudly manufactured in the USA. In addition, she is a highly sought-after teacher and demonstrator and has appeared on numerous television shows with her work included in many books, magazines and websites.

  • Stu Kilgour

    Stu has been in the commercial art business for 10 years, doing everything from T-shirt and storyboard design to web design and corporate identity. Stu has been with Ellison for over 10 years and has become a utility man who can do any style for any medium, often processing other artist's work and teaming with R & D on product development when not crafting his own designs for Ellison. On a personal note, Stu works from his home in Tennessee where he spends time with his wife Lisa and their five kids. Stu loves rain, rock & roll and video games. He is currently taking correspondence courses toward a degree in Communications/Game Art.

    Tim Holtz is the Creative Director for Ranger Industries, one of the leading manufacturers of innovative inks, paints and embossing products. Tim plays an integral part in the development and design of cutting-edge papercrafting products.
