Sizzix Artists

  • Alexis Trimble

Alexis was born and raised in Southern California where she began papercrafting at the age of twelve. She spent most of her college years working at a local scrapbook store, and after earning her B.A. in Sociology at UCSD, worked in casting for the television industry. But the art world called to her. As a member of the Sizzix Art Department, Alexis is once again able to create art on a daily basis. Her biggest sources of inspiration are time spent in nature and cultural and architectural influences while traveling. She’s an avid reader who enjoys writing, painting and exploring the world in her free time.

  • Angela Southey

Angela has always enjoyed working with textiles and yarn. She learned to sew, knit, crochet, macramé and lace while she was still a teenager. A career in teaching textiles was an obvious choice, until she chose to run her own business as a designer and seamstress while raising her family. Later, she began working for a shop specializing in fabrics for patchwork where a new interest and hobby was born. Since then, Angela has become manager of the shop and appears at patchwork shows, helping with the new fabric range. Angela joined Sizzix in 2012 as a member of the design team creating projects and quilts with the newest dies. She can't wait to share her creativity with you!

  • Debi Potter

Debi has been papercrafting for more than 10 years and currently spends her days working as a freelance designer creating inspirational projects for the consumer craft magazines in the UK. More recently, Debi has turned her attention to working with fabric to create stylish home décor projects and describes her style as shabby chic using florals, stripes and polka dots. When she's not tending to magazine submissions, Debi runs workshops at craft shops and consumer craft fairs. This allows her to share ideas and spend time with fellow crafters.

  • Pete Hughes

Sizzix designer Pete lives in the picturesque town of Llangollen in North Wales with his wife and two children. In his spare time, Pete helps out at his local karate club, plays and collects electric guitars and follows his beloved Liverpool Football Club. For over ten years, Pete has been inspiring UK and European crafters with his amazing ideas. After leaving school, Pete trained as an illustrator, specializing in cartoons and caricatures before taking up a position for an educational publishing company. Pete has worked for Ellison since 2005, where he enjoys producing projects for UK and European magazines, trade shows and demonstrations. Pete is also featured regularly on television demonstrating Sizzix products, most recently on QVC.
