  • Deena Ziegler

    Deena has always stored memorabilia in albums but has been "officially" scrapbooking for more than 15 years now. Her favorite scrapbooking subjects are her daughters, Niguel and Kylah, and she will always set aside time to scrapbook when they are willing to join her. Deena and her husband, Randy, have also collected many travel photos through the years, which she enjoys scrapbooking. Deena has a love of cardmaking and teaches card classes at stores and online. When Deena's not scrapbooking her personal memories, she's here at Sizzix helping to inspire you with new techniques and creative ways to use your die-cuts.

  • Alexis Trimble

    Alexis was born and raised in Southern California where she began papercrafting at the age of twelve. She spent most of her college years working at a local scrapbook store, and after earning her B.A. in Sociology at UCSD, worked in casting for the television industry. But the art world called to her. As a member of the Sizzix Art Department, Alexis is once again able to create art on a daily basis. Her biggest sources of inspiration are time spent in nature and cultural and architectural influences while traveling. She’s an avid reader who enjoys writing, painting and exploring the world in her free time.

  • Jenn Taylor

    Jenn is a believer that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. She’s on a mission to help others tap into their creativity through art, stories, character and color. A self-taught artist, she spent 8 years as an editor in the arts & crafts industry, where she started playing with paint. She quickly learned that sharing the magic of art and creativity with others brings her so much joy, which is her continued goal as a Craft Designer for the Sizzix Art Department. Jenn lives in South Orange County, California with her husband Jeremy, and their two dogs, Lulu and Roxy.

  • Mona Gettmann

    Mona has been a part of the craft industry for many years and in many different creative capacities. She loves her job in the Sizzix Art Department, where she gets to create fun projects every day! She has worked for Stampendous, Stampington & Company, Creative Imaginations and Hobby Lobby. Beyond papercrafting, her interests include spending time with family and friends, cooking, entertaining, West Coast Swing dancing and enjoying the outdoors—especially the beach and traveling. Mona was born in Denver, Colorado, but has lived most of her life in Southern California. She has two sons and a daughter, who are now grown and living on their own. She remarried 4 years ago to her husband, Jim, who has three sons.

  • Suzanne Sergi

    Suzanne's love of papercrafting began when she decided to document all the details of her firstborn child's (Gabriela) life. From the time she stepped into a scrapbooking store, Suzanne fell in love with the possibilities. Since then, she has been fortunate to be on design teams such as My Mind's Eye, Bella Blvd., Crate Paper, Fancy Pants and Pebbles. Her work has been featured in many scrapbooking publications. Suzanne teaches at a local scrapbook store and enjoys creating scrapbook pages, home décor projects and mini albums. As a member of the Sizzix Art Department, Suzanne creates art every day. Suzanne lives in Orange County, California with her three children, Gabriela, Roman and Macie, but still loves her native Texas!
  • Thuy Le

    Before joining the Sizzix Art Department and serving as the founder and designer behind Blossom Papers, Thuy followed a different career path. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and spending 15 years in the optical industry, she returned to her first love: crafting, and she continues to learn every day from other inspired paper artists and paper florists. Thuy complements her creativity with self-taught skills in sewing, baking and event planning. She believes that anyone can craft as long as they are willing to learn and be patient.

  • Wendy Cuskey

    Having worked in the legal field for over 20 years, Wendy Cuskey knows the daily grind of the 9-5 world all too well. As a member of the Sizzix design team, Wendy gets to unleash her eclectic style and inspiring view of creativity onto many different mediums, including her favorite means to express herself, paper. Wendy first started scrapbooking with pictures of her children and has been papercrafting ever since with her family and everyday life as her inspirations. She enjoys creating mini albums as unique gifts and to showcase summer beach days and the vacations she enjoys with her husband, two boys and her yorkie who all reside happily in sunny southern California.

  • Linda Nitzen

    Learning from her mother how to embroider, crochet and sew at age 7, Linda realized her love of blankets and quilts on a family vacation during high school. Not only were two wool blankets the only treasures she brought home from that trip, but she followed that up by making her first quilt. Self-taught, it would be 10 years before she took her first class, and from there it's been non-stop fun growing her skills and learning new techniques. A native Southern Californian, she's been happily married to her husband for 22 years and together they have two terrific teenage boys. "My boys learned early on," jokes Linda, "that if Mom gets to quilt each day, the house is much happier.""

  • Kathy Ranabargar

    Kathy has always been fascinated by fabrics. She loves to touch them, look at them and imagine what she can do with them. She has been sewing almost all her life; Kathy's mother taught her the basics and, while dating her husband, she learned quilting from her mother-in-law. Her inspirations are her garden and the ocean and her influences include her experiences in fashion and theater costuming. Born and raised in Temple City, Calif., Kathy now lives in Laguna Beach, Calif., with her husband, two teenage boys and two black labs.

  • Melanie Butler

    Melanie Butler currently lives in Orange, California, and previously attended Fullerton Junior College. She has always loved to craft, but it wasn’t until college that she discovered her true love in quilting. Melanie admires all the different types, styles and options that quilting has to offer, which has not only helped shape her career path, but also introduced her to like-minded, lifelong friends. She wouldn’t trade them or quilting for anything! Aside from quilting, Melanie also enjoys small DIY projects and road trips with her family. She married her college sweetheart and feels blessed with the birth of her first child. She loves to learn and explore through his young eyes and his unfiltered, playful nature.

  • Angela Southey

    Angela has always enjoyed working with textiles and yarn. She learned to sew, knit, crochet, macramé and lace while she was still a teenager. A career in teaching textiles was an obvious choice, until she chose to run her own business as a designer and seamstress while raising her family. Later, she began working for a shop specializing in fabrics for patchwork where a new interest and hobby was born. Since then, Angela has become manager of the shop and appears at patchwork shows, helping with the new fabric range. Angela joined Sizzix in 2012 as a member of the design team creating projects and quilts with the newest dies. She can't wait to share her creativity with you!

  • Debi Potter

    Debi has been papercrafting for more than 10 years and currently spends her days working as a freelance designer creating inspirational projects for the consumer craft magazines in the UK. More recently, Debi has turned her attention to working with fabric to create stylish home décor projects and describes her style as shabby chic using florals, stripes and polka dots. When she's not tending to magazine submissions, Debi runs workshops at craft shops and consumer craft fairs. This allows her to share ideas and spend time with fellow crafters.

  • Pete Hughes

    Sizzix designer Pete lives in the picturesque town of Llangollen in North Wales with his wife and two children. In his spare time, Pete helps out at his local karate club, plays and collects electric guitars and follows his beloved Liverpool Football Club. For over ten years, Pete has been inspiring UK and European crafters with his amazing ideas. After leaving school, Pete trained as an illustrator, specializing in cartoons and caricatures before taking up a position for an educational publishing company. Pete has worked for Ellison since 2005, where he enjoys producing projects for UK and European magazines, trade shows and demonstrations. Pete is also featured regularly on television demonstrating Sizzix products, most recently on QVC.
