Emboss a Skyward Bird Vintaj Natural Brass Altered Metal blank using the Deco Motif DecoEmboss die. Dab white acrylic paint onto the embossed blanks and use a paper towel to remove the paint while it is still wet, leaving it only in the impressions to accentuate the design. Add a combination of alcohol ink over the embossed blank. Add or remove ink as desired. Let dry. Buff with the Metal Reliefing block to highlight the raised designs. If desired, apply Vintaj Glaze with a paint brush to create glaze-like effects over paints and inks. It is fast-drying, durable and permanent with a satin finish. Punch or drill an additional hole in the blank for linking. From the bottom of the Skyward Bird pendant, dangle a variety of polymer clay letter pendants and beads. Attach the pendant to a length of silk cord. Create the necklace by stringing a variety of beads, capped beads, tube beads and spacer beads onto the silk cord. Knot the cord at intervals to keep the beads from sliding. For added interest, wire wrap and tie a variety of silk cords on the area above the pendant on the necklace. If desired, Vintaj Glaze can be used as a sealer for natural metals to prevent oxidation. It is fast-drying, durable and permanent with a satin finish.
