tips & techniques for using your stamp & spin

create your first circular stamp design

  • Step 1

    Remove the Stencil Adapter and Stamp Plate from the base from the Sizzix Stencil & Stamp Tool (sold separately). Remove the release liner from the Sticky Grid Sheet.

  • Step 2

    Insert the Stamp & Spin Tool into the base hinge at a 90° angle.

  • Step 3

    Lower Stamp & Spin Tool onto base and position Cover Mask on Sticky Grid Sheet if required.

  • Step 4

    Open Stamp & Spin Tool and place the surface / project to be stamped onto the Sticky Grid Sheet.

  • Step 5

    Affix a Stamp to the Stamp Disc in the desired location, use the markings on the Stamp Disc to determine how many stamp positions is achievable.

  • Step 6

    Apply ink to the Stamp. Lower the Stamp & Spin Tool to create an impression on the surface / project. Repeat this process if the stamped design requires further ink saturation.

  • Step 7

    Once a suitable ink impression has been made, open the Stamp & Spin Tool and rotate the Stamp Disc to the next desired position.

  • Step 8

    Repeat steps 6 and 7 until the desired design is achieved.

    Add additional stamps to the design as required, following Steps 5 to 7.
