Pieced Bottle Hand Bag

Fabric Requirements:

Notes:

• Finished Size: 15" H x 12" W
• All seam allowances are 1/4" unless noted.
• Fat 1/4 = approximately 18" x 21"

Piecing the Purse:

1. Sew 18 Bottles together in a mirrored fashion with the upper Bottles upside down. Repeat to form complete outer shell.
2. Heat fuse outer shell to medium-weight interfacing and quilt as desired.
3. Heat fuse lightweight interfacing to one side of the wrong side of the pocket lining. Right sides together, sew around the outer 3 edges leaving an opening to turn right side out. Turn right side out. Position pocket down 3 3/4" and centered onto one side of the lining. Stitch down to lining with a stay stitch seam down the middle.
4. With right sides together, sew together three sides of the lining pieces together, boxing the edges.
5. Add magnetic purse closure optional.
6. Sew together bottom outer panel to side panels, boxing the bottom edges.
7. Insert lining into outer shell with wrong sides together. Stay stitch around upper edge of purse.
8. Pin and sew down the 2 1/2" x 33" onto the top edge. Turn and finish by hand or machine.
9. Attach grommets.
10. Sew together sets of handle fabric right sides together. Turn right side out and insert lightweight interfacing. Sew down the middle and both outer edges of handle.
11. Placing the handle through the grommet, turn handles 2 1/2" onto itself and turn over 1/4" for a finished edge. Sew to secure. Repeat for all handle ends.
