Cut cardstock to size and fold in half to form a card base. Cut a piece of cardstock to fit across the card front and emboss using the X and O embossing folder. Distress with ink, mat on patterned paper and adhere in place. Die-cut a Christmas Tree six times out of double-sided patterned paper. Fold each Christmas Tree piece in half along the crease lines. Adhere the Christmas Tree pieces together, one at a time, at the fold. Adhere the 3-D Christmas Tree to the card front. Embellish the top of the tree with a pearl bead. Die-cut a scallop border (from the Rain or Shine set) out of patterned paper and adhere to the card front, trimming away excess. Emboss the words "Shining Through" onto cardstock. Align the corresponding Framelits die over the embossed images and die-cut. For ease of use, we recommend using the Magnetic Platform to hold the Framelits die in place while the shape is being cut. Add color with ink to highlight the raised designs, mat on a patterned paper banner and adhere to the card front. Wrap a ribbon around the card front and tie into a bow. Embellish with a threaded button.
