Fabric Requirements:

Notes:

• Finished Size: 32" x 59"
• All seam allowances are 1/4" unless noted.
• WOF = width of fabric

Assembling the Project:

1. Arrange the shapes in a pleasing manner on the background. When satisfied with the arrangement, sew shapes to the background using a blanket stitch.
2. Sew the 3 1/2" x 35 1/2" green Strips to the long sides of the background. Press the seams toward the green fabric.
3. Sew the 3 1/2" x 22 1/2" green Strips to the short sides of the background. Press the seams toward the green fabric.
4. Sew the 5" x 41 1/2" red Strips to the longer sides of the quilt top. Press the seams toward the red fabric.
5. Sew the 9 1/2" x 32" red Strips to the short sides of the quilt top. Press the seams toward the red fabric.

Finishing:

1. Layer the backing, batting and quilt top. Quilt by hand or machine, as desired.
2. Sew binding strips together to form one long strip. Fold wrong sides together, lengthwise, and press.
3. With a 1/4" seam, sew the raw edges of the binding to the edges of the right side of the quilt. Turn the folded edge of the binding to the back side of the quilt and stitch in place by hand, mitering the corners.
