Notes:
- Finished Size: 16" x 47 1/2"
- All seam allowances are 1/4" unless noted.
- Fat 1/8 = approximately 9" x 22"
- Fat 1/4 = approximately 18" x 21"
- * = Adhere fusible adhesive to back of fabric before die-cutting the shapes.
Assembling the Project:
- Fold background fabric in half lengthwise and press. Fold in half again lengthwise and press. Unfold fabric. The pressed folds will help with placement registration.
- On the left side of the wall hanging, arrange Monsters so they are standing on top of each other. Mix and match the colors and placement of the hair, teeth/horns and arms to create unique Monsters.
- Place the 3/4" Circles on the right hand side of the wall hanging spacing them at 1" intervals.
- Place a "2" at the bottom Circle. Count up 12 Circles and place the "3" and repeat, placing the numbers "4" and "5" to mark each foot measurement along the right side.
- When satisfied with the placement, heat fuse in place with an iron. Stitch around shapes as desired.
Finishing:
- Layer the backing, batting and quilt top. Quilt by hand or machine, as desired.
- Sew binding strips together, alternating colors, to form one long strip. Fold wrong sides together lengthwise and press.
- With a 1/4" seam, sew the raw edges of the binding to the edges of the right side of the quilt. Turn the folded edge of the binding to the back side of the quilt and stitch in place by hand, mitering the corners.
