Flowers & Hearts Garland

Other Supplies: Candlestick (Optional), Spool, Cardstock, Patterned Paper, Buttons, Sewing Machine

Die-cut flowers and hearts out of cardstock and patterned paper. Layer colors to assemble. Sew through the middle of one or two layers of shapes. Sew two to three stitches without paper in the sewing machine. Feed the next shape through the sewing machine. Continue chain-piecing until all shapes are connected on the same thread to form a garland. Embellish the flower centers with buttons. Wrap the garland around a spool for storage. If desired, display on top of a candlestick.
