World Without End Table Runner

Fabric Requirements:

Notes:

• Finished Size: 12" x 24"
• All seam allowances are 1/4" unless noted.
• Fat 1/4 = approximately 18" x 21"
• WOF = width of fabric

Piecing the Project:

1. Sew two right triangles to either side of the large isosceles triangle. See Diagrams 1 and 2. Repeat 31 times. Press seams open.
2. Sew a green small half-square triangle to a blue large isosceles triangle to finish the square. See Diagram 3. Repeat 15 times.
3. Sew a blue small half-square triangle to a green large isosceles triangle to finish the square. See Diagram 3. Repeat 15 times.
4. Place four blocks together, placing matching colors opposite of other to make the center square. Sew the four blocks together. Repeat to make 7 more blocks.
5. Sew larger blocks together, four across by two down to make the table runner top.

Finishing:

1. Layer the backing, batting and quilt top. Quilt by hand or machine, as desired.
2. Sew binding strips together to form one long strip. Fold wrong sides together lengthwise and press.
3. With a 1/4" seam, sew the raw edges of the binding to the edges of the right side of the quilt. Turn the folded edge of the binding to the back side of the quilt and stitch in place by hand, mitering the corners.
