1. Cut a piece of 5 1/2" x 8" kraft cardstock. Score, and fold in half to create a card base. Ink the edges with Distress Ink.
2. Cut a piece of 3 1/2" x 5" gray cardstock, and adhere to the card front with double-sided adhesive.
3. Dry emboss the Ringer embossing folder onto kraft cardstock, and cut into a 3" x 3/4" strip.
4. Dry emboss the Numeric embossing folder onto blue and green cardstock. Trim the blue cardstock into a 3" x 2 1/2" strip, and trim the green cardstock into a 3" x 3/4" strip.
5. Cut a 3" x 4 1/2" piece of patterned paper. Layer all of the dry-embossed strips to the patterned paper with double- sided adhesive. Ink the edges with Distress Ink.
6. Wrap a strand of black-and-white baker's twine around the patterned paper layered with the embossed strips, and tie in a knot. Adhere the patterned paper layered with the embossed strips to the card front with double-sided adhesive.
7. Stamp a hot air balloon with Distress Embossing Ink directly onto a sheet of kraft cardstock. Cover with Distress Embossing Powder. Use a heat tool to set.
8. Fussy cut the stamped embossed hot air balloon, and ink the edges with Distress Ink. Adhere to the card front with adhesive foam tape for dimension.
