Holiday Hugs Card

Other Supplies:

• Cardstock (Dark Brown, Dark Pink, Kraft, Light Pink, Light Blue, Olive Green, White)
• Felt (Pink, 1mm thickness is recommended)
• Adhesive Foam Dots
• Double-Sided Tape or Tape Runner
• Foam Sponge or Ink Blending Tool
• Hot Glue Gun
• Hot Glue Sticks
• Ink Pads (Blue, Brown, Pink)
• Liquid Adhesive
• Gold Paint Pen
• Pink Ribbon

1. Cut a 7" x 10" piece of kraft cardstock. Fold in half vertically to create a card base. Using a foam sponge, add brown ink to the edges of the card front.
2. Cut a 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" piece of dark brown cardstock. Line the edge of the dark brown cardstock with a gold ink pen. On the lower bottom quarter, adhere a pink ribbon across the brown cardstock with hot glue. Center and adhere the brown cardstock on the kraft cardstock base with adhesive foam dots.
3. Die-cut a 4 1/2" circle from the Circles set out of light pink cardstock. Line the edge of the circle with a gold paint pen. Center and adhere with double-sided tape the light pink circle to the top two-thirds of the dark brown cardstock.
4. Die-cut a 4" circle from the Circles set out of white cardstock. Line the edge of the circle with a gold paint pen. Center and adhere the white circle on top of the light pink circle with adhesive foam dots.
5. Die-cut a 3 1/2" circle from the Circles set out of light blue cardstock. Using a foam sponge, lightly add blue ink to the outer edge of the circle for dimension. Center and adhere the light blue circle on top of the white circle with adhesive foam dots.
6. Die-cut two 3" circles from the Circles set out of pink felt and white cardstock. Adhere the pink felt circle on top of the white cardstock circle with liquid adhesive. Center and adhere with double-sided tape the layered circles on top of the light blue cardstock circle.
7. Die-cut three Holiday Hugs Phrases out of white cardstock. Use liquid adhesive to adhere each phrase on top of one another to create a dimensional effect. Center and adhere the phrase on top of the pink felt circle with liquid adhesive.
8. Die-cut four sets of leaves (two of each design) from the Phrase, Holiday Hugs set out of olive green cardstock. Set them aside.
9. Die-cut six flowers from the Phrase, Holiday Hugs set out of dark pink cardstock, three from the large flower and three from the small flower. Repeat this same step, die-cutting six flowers out of light pink cardstock. Using a foam sponge, add pink ink to the edges of the flowers. Adhere with liquid adhesive a small flower to a large flower, matching the same colors. Adhere the flowers together so that the small flower petals do not overlap with the large flower petals below.
10. Die-cut three flower centers from the Phrase, Holiday Hugs set out of dark pink cardstock and three out of light pink cardstock. Adhere with liquid adhesive the flower centers to each layered flower, matching the light pink centers with the dark pink flowers and the dark pink centers with the light pink flowers.
11. Alternating colors, adhere a group of three flowers to the top left side of the layered circles and another group of three flowers to the bottom right side of the layered circles using hot glue. Adhere the olive green leaves to either side of the flower groupings with liquid adhesive.
