Assembling the Pillow Top:

  1. Use one 14" square for the front of the pillow and one for the back. Set aside the back for now.
  2. Using the pillow photo as a guide, lay out the basket and flower pieces on the pillow front.
  3. Glue baste or pin the down pieces.
  4. Sew around the shapes with decorative stitches.

  1. Baste stitch the blue ruffle trim along the perimeter of the pillow front.
  2. Layer the pillow top and pillow back, right sides together. Pin and sew with a 1/4" seam allowance, leaving an opening approximately 5-8" long to stuff.
  3. Clip excess fabric in the corners on the diagonal. Turn right side out, insert the pillow form and whipstitch closed.
