Hello friends! Today I'm working with the Tim Holtz Stacked dies I love the versatility of these dies. You can use them on cards, mixed media projects, assemblage pieces and more. The dies also fit the Vignette boxes from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology line. In fact, Tim has an awesome video where he shares some tips for using his stacked dies. Check it out here:
You can see in our project today I've stacked the dies to create a window with a border around the focal point of our piece. Are you ready to dive in?

Die cut Rosette using the Rosette Thinlits Set.
Apply washi tape to the back of the Rosette strip to create strength.
Adhere the ends together with hot glue.
Squeeze the top together and then push down to create rosette. Adhere center with hot glue.
If you want to see a more detailed version of this rosette, check out Tim's Did You Know Rosette video here:
Cut cardstock to fit the front of the Vignette box, I used the largest box. Tape the Baroque Thinlits second largest die in the center and die cut.
Tape the two largest dies on Metallic Kraft-Stock to create a frame.
Lightly sand the frame.
Ink frame with Distress Ink on an Ink Blending Tool.
Adhere the gold frame over the front piece from step 5.
Ink the edges with Distress Ink on an Ink Blending Tool.
Cut a piece of cardstock to fit the inside of the box.
Cut cardstock to cover the outside of the Vignette box and adhere pieces with Collage Medium.
Color paper Doll with Distress Marker and blend out color with Blending Stick or cotton swab.
Adhere 2 game pieces or several layers of foam tape to the back of the Paper Doll. Tip: Personalize your project by using your own photo.
Apply a bead of Collage Medium to the box and adhere front window to box.
Use Design Tape to cover all the edges.
Adhere Sizzix Adhesive to the back of Kraft-Stock.
Die cut Funky Florals #2 from Kraft-Stock. Adhere Flowers and Leaves together.
Spray Funky Florals with Distress Mica Spray and let dry.
Adhere Paper Doll to the box centering her in the window. Add Funky Florals to the front of the box by peeling the adhesive and/or using foam tape as desired. Add a bow to the dress and flowers using thick thread or string.
Cut Rosette in half and adhere to the top of the box. Add some little floral over the Rosette. Adhere Adornment swag to center top of frame. Paint the Base with Gold Metallic Mixative using a brush. Apply a small amount of Blending Solution and gently wipe off raised areas on the base.
Adhere base with Collage Medium and let dry.
I hope you will try the Stacked dies and make something fun.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
