My name is Kath and I'm delighted to be back on the Sizzix blog to share another project with you using dies from Tim Holtz Chapter 4 Christmas release. I created a Merry Christmas Shaker Card using Deck The Halls, Stacked Ovals and Alphanumeric Classic Upper Thinlits.

Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink - Peeled Paint
Ranger Distress Rock Candy Glitter
Sequins and Gems
Stampendous Chunky White Embossing Enamel
Ranger Superfine Clear Embossing Powder
Ranger Heat It Tool
Ranger Glossy Accents
Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen
Ranger Distress Collage Medium Matte
Step 1. Trim paper from the Christmas/Noel Paper Stash to measure 4" x 6", fix to a piece of lightweight card of the same size using Distress Collage Medium Matte and die-cut the aperture using Tim Holtz Stacked Ovals Thinlits.
Step 2. Apply Sizzix Adhesive Sheets to scraps of white card and red Idea-ology Classic KraftStock and die-cut the word MERRY using Tim Holtz Alphanumeric Classic Upper Thinlits. Peel the backing off the letters and layer to create dimension.
Step 3. Trim a contrasting paper from the Christmas/Noel Paper Stash and fix in the centre of the card blank. Trace lightly around the oval die-cut with a pencil to help with placement of the letters and use a T Square Ruler to make sure they are straight.
Step 4. Fix acetate or waste clear packaging to the back of the front panel and add Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive around the edges. Add sequins, beads and Distress Clear Rock Candy Glitter to the centre of the panel on the card.
Step 5. Remove the backing from the Mini Foam Adhesive and fix the shaker panel to the card.
Step 6. Die-cut the holly leaves and berries from Idea-ology Classic Kraftstock using Tim Holtz Deck The Halls Thinlits. Remove the adhesive backing from each die-cut, layer and fix to the front panel using Distress Collage Medium Matte.
Step 7. Tap a small amount of Distress Collage Medium on the background and holly leaves using your finger, sprinkle with Stampendous White Chunky Embossing Enamel and heat until melted. Add a white accent to the berries using a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen and apply a coat of Ranger Glossy Accents.
Step 8. Ink the sentiment from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Modern Christmas with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink, stamp on to a scrap of white card and heat emboss with Ranger Superfine Clear Embossing Powder. Trim out the word Christmas, fix to a scrap of white card and trim leaving a border around the edge. Fix the sentiment to the card.
