Born and raised in Southern California, Alexis began papercrafting at 10 years old. She spent most of her college years working at a local scrapbook store. After earning her B.A. in Sociology at the UCSD, she worked in casting for the television industry. But the creative world beckoned, and Alexis joined the Sizzix team in 2016. As a member of the Sizzix Creative Team, Alexis creates projects for videos, trade events and photoshoots. In addition, she enjoys contributing to the Sizzix product library with die designs. Her design inspirations often include elements from nature, traveling and textiles. When she is not at work, you can often find her traveling or with her head in a book.
