How to make Spooky Crowns

Calling all monsters, ghosts, and ghouls! Halloween is right around the corner and now is the time to make some Spooktacular projects for your friends. We've selected one of our favourite project for you to make this spooky season...

Make this Spooky Crown ready for Halloween fun!

Supplies: 

Sizzix Big Shot Plus Machine (660020)

Sizzix Bigz Plus Due - Hat, Black & Buckle (665965)

Sizzix Surfacez - Cardstock Muted Colors (665695)

Sizzix Making Essential - Express Glue (664576)

White or paint pen

How to make:

1. Die-cut out of black cardstock, the Hat, Black & Buckle. Position gold cardstock over the buckle area of the Hat, Bat & Buckle Bigz die and green cardstock over the hat band area of the die. 
   
2. Starting at the long side of black cardstock, trim 4, 1-1/2” strips. Using glue, adhere 2 strips together to create 1 long piece. Repeat with the remaining 2 strips. Adhere 2 ends to create a “headband”.
   
3. Using a white pen or paint, draw eyes and fangs with a grin to the bat’s face. Adhere bat die cut at seam of “headband”.
   
4. Using glue, adhere the green band to the witch’s hat above the brim and adhere the gold buckle to the center of the green band. Adhere the embellished witch’s hat die cut to the seam of the “headband”.
