I am a Mixed Media Artist, (formally known as an Interior Designer), living in Northern Michigan in the US with my husband and two Newfoundlands.  I enjoy experimenting in art journals and taking these practices to paper or panel in both mixed media abstract work and oil painted landscapes.

Hi, my name is Kassy and I love ALL the art! I am a mixed media artist that loves to push the boundaries and try new things. I became obsessed with paper crafting more than 20 years ago and never looked back. I also have a passion for teaching other creatives to try new things and be brave when faced with a blank page. I love bridging the gap between the paper craft and fine art worlds to see what we can create together!

ANDREA OKESON

Andrea Okeson is an Artist and Designer living, working, and exploring in the Twin Cities.  Her artistic journey began in sketchbooks, thick with glued ephemera and secrets, leapt off the page onto large canvases, and now happily bounces between the two substrates.  

CASEY TURNER

I'm a busy stay-at-home-mom turned art journaler/mixed media artist living in Pennsylvania. I have always been a creative person, with a childhood dream of becoming an art teacher. That dream has come true in the last few years with teaching online courses, in person workshops and hosting art journaling retreats. I love thrifting, all things vintage and incorporating prayer and worship into my daily creative practice. My heart’s desire is to show others that art journaling is an amazing outlet to express yourself and your feelings in a safe and healthy way.

Nadine Aster

I'm a Mixed Media artist who loves to experiment and play with various materials and techniques. The process is as important as the outcome, as one idea often leads to the next. I enjoy exploring the beauty that is found in contrasts- especially that of vibrant colors alongside neutrals, grunge paired with refinement, and boldness meeting softness.
