DIY Handmade Card. Short Simple and Sweet.

This little one can be added to a gift, dropped in the mail or even as an escort card at your next soiree! Unexpected is always the best! When it's handmade, even better! Whether its National Letter Writing Month or a just because little note thats hand delivered, its sure to bring a smile! Using the new Sizzix Mini Card and Envelope Bigz Die Set, its four little corners enclose your sweet message inside.
Ive always loved anything mini and this new Sizzix Die Set is the perfect size! It makes your handmade card, short simple and sweet. Just choose the colors of the season or the colors of the occasion and attach it to a package, deliver it to your friend's desk or slip it under the door. Its sure to brighten their day.
What you need:

Sizzix Bigz Die -Mini Card & Envelope Set (665483)
Sizzix Making Essential- Biodegradable Fine Glitter, Arctic Sky, 12g (663885)
Sizzix Making Essential - Express Glue, 120ml (664576)
Sizzix Making Essential Funnel Tray - (664353)
Sizzix Making Essential - Permanent Adhesive Roller (663474)
Sizzix Surfacez - Cardstock, 8 1/4 x 11 5/8, 20 Assorted Colors, 80 sheets (663007)
Sizzix Surfacez - Patterned Paper, Color Story, 80 Sheets (665275)
How to make:
Die cut out of Arctic Sky Patterned Paper, 2 of the envelope flap bases, out of the Sizzix Arctic Sky cardstock, both butterfly pieces from the Bigz Mini Card & Envelope Die Set
Trim 1 piece of Arctic Sky cardstock to 4 x 8, fold in 1/2. Place folded cardstock over the square shape. Adjust folded side of Sizzix Cardstock to slightly expose 1 of the side blades. Die-cut saving the fold.
Slide butterfly die-cut with slit at bottom through butterfly with slit at top. Using Sizzix Express Glue, spread a thin layer on to top of opened butterfly. With wet side up, place butterfly onto the Sizzix Funnel Tray. Sprinkle an even layer of our Sizzix Arctic Sky Biodegradable Glitter onto wet area. Set aside to dry.
Fold in all 4 flap corners on scorelines. Using Sizzix Permanent Adhesive Roller, adhere envelope bases to eachother, with flaps opening up at all 4 sides.
Using Express Glue or Permanent Adhesive Roller, adhere 1 side of butterfly to one flap point.
Once sentiment or message is written in folded card, adhere or loosely place inside assembled envelope. If desired, add a bit of adhesive to remaining side of butterfly to close.
Handwritten notes an unexpected party in an envelope! Who wouldnt love having one delivered? Add little treasures inside. Fold up a few dollars and tuck under the flaps.
